Winemaker Dinner at Waterfront Seafood Grill

Summer nights on Waterfront’s outdoor deck is officially a go!

J.P. and I recently attended the Washington Wine Festival’s Winemaker’s dinner, Magnum wine tasting and Vinolution 14 event on Friday night with our friends Rosangela and David Capobianco. With some of our favorite wineries present, I voted for the Quilceda Creek 2008 Cabernet Savignon as my top choice of the Magnum tasting — only because I could not make it through the crowd to see what Greg Lill was pouring! Running into good friends, Ian MacNeil, Chad and Jenny Mackay, Rose Dennis, Mark and Nancy Pelligrino and others was a fun surprise. Ian hopped up on stage and brought his great energy to a worthwhile auction, raising money for Camp Korey. Overall, a fun night with amazing food, a beautiful setting, great friends and a really wonderful cause.
