UPDATED: Nordstrom Designer Preview 2011
26 years later, Sally B. Nordstrom’s vision for a well-funded Seattle Art Museum continues. Having raised $4.7 Million to date, last night’s annual event in dedication to Bagley Wright, raised an estimated $100,000 for our beloved SAM.
Proceeds for this fabulously “fashionista/fashionisto” affair will benefit the upcoming “Gauguin and Polynesia: An Elusive Paradise” exhibit at the museum, scheduled to preview next Spring.
Seattle hit the fashion mark last night, and were truly at their best. Janea Dinius donned a gorgeous black sequin gown, Julia Lumpkin poured fabulous Lazy River Pinot Gris, and I had the great pleasure of chatting with Marissa Brooks of Glassbaby, and Pete and Brandy Nordstrom, who allowed as how this was a favorite annual event, which they look forward to each year. Also in attendance for their first Nordstrom Preview were Kelly and Sarah McLoughlin
To following last night’s show, Nordstrom‘s will be hosting a trunk show this morning (10-3pm) inside their downtown store.
A Big thank you to Nordstrom for such generous hospitality last night, the wonderful seat, and of course, the fabulous show.
