Orcas Island presents “An Old Fashion 4th of July” and the Historical Day Fair and Parade
Celebrate the 4th of July the old fashioned way at Orcas Island on Wednesday July 4th! There will be game booths, a cake walk, a dunk tank, feats of strength and demonstrations in blacksmithing among other exciting activities and shows. At night, a firework demonstration will take place from Indian Island.
The Fourth of July fun will continue on and more celebrations will happen on Saturday July 7th at the Historical Day Fair and Parade. Beginning at 10am on the Village Green guests will have the opportunity to eat delicious food, enjoy live music and visit community non-profit booths. A float with Mr. Antiquus, the famed bison, will be featured. In addition, there will be a Pie Booth including French country frozen lemon treats! Don’t miss all the merriment of the fair and parade and help to support the Orcas Island Historical Museum, as all proceeds will benefit OIHM.
