Fun at the Waterfront
Seattle’s Great Wheel opened on June 29th and is the 30 year dream of long time restaurateur and Pier 57 developer Hal Griffith. With major construction of the Seattle Viaduct Griffith hopes the wheel will be a great attraction that willl lead people to the Pier and help stimulate more business in the Elliot Bay area.

The wheel provides both locals and tourists with extraordinary views of the Puget Sound, Seattle Skyline and City Center. Ride tickets are on sale $13 for adults and $8.50 per child, and some lucky folks might even get to sit in the gondola with the glass bottom.
The wheel is a beautiful experience for the entire family and add to all the fun of summer’s in Seattle.
