Nordstrom Designer Preview 2012
For 26 years Nordstrom has been dedicated to supporting the arts by partnering with Seattle Art Museum Supporters to host the Nordstrom Designer Preview fashion show. This year’s show was held against the backdrop of the Seattle Puget Sound at Terminal 91 last Thursday night, July 9th.

Seattleites arrived around 6:30 in their most fashion-forward apparel and posed for pictures with Team Photogenic upon entering. Prior to the show, guests mingled at a very swanky cocktail hour among racks on racks of premier designer clothing, handbags, shoes, and other accessories. The runway show was nothing short of fabulous, highlighting the latest and greatest in trends for the upcoming fall season and features pieces from the hottest designers like Stella McCartney, Michael Kors, Versace and so many more delicious names. Afterwards guests migrated back upstairs for dessert, champagne, and of course, shopping.
The event gave guests from all around Seattle a sneak peek at Nordstrom’s high-end fall collection. But the weight went far and beyond couture and cocktails: the money raised will go towards the Seattle Art Museum’s upcoming exhibit Elles: Women Artists from the Centre Pompidou, Paris, to be unveiled October 2012. Last year the show raised $160,000.
