A Skier’s Paradise Overseas

Every snow bunny knows that a good ski trip means gorgeous views and plenty of down time to recuperate. While the northwest has several top-notch slopes, there is nothing like the Swiss Alps!

Snow dusted Swiss Alps.

These pretty hills attract skiers, or boarders, worldwide. While the Swiss Alps lay within Switzerland’s borderlines, they are part of the larger Brandenburg Alps which cross through a handful of countries including Austria. Today’s  highlight is for a majestic resort in the hills of Innsbruck, Austria.

A festive Klosterbraeu.

The Klosterbraeu Hotel’s traditional Tirol architecture and decor brings you back in time, back to the middle ages and Germanic Bavaria. In this historic spirit, the hotel goes further to make this experience authentic by wearing their regional attire.

The bedrooms cater to all types of groups, large suites with salons for entertaining guests or private suites with cozy fireplaces.

The dinning experience is quite unique as well. Everything from formal dinning rooms, rustic cafes, to local breweries!
