A Day in the Death of Joe Egg at ACT

ACT- A Contemporary Theatre presents, The Day in the Death of Joe Egg. Written by celebrated British playwright Peter Nichols, this play has been heralded by London’s National Theatre as one of the most significant plays of the 20th century! Brian and Sheila keep their marriage alive by believing it’s better to laugh than cry. Fortunately, they are natural born entertainers. But one night, ten years into bearing up laughing while caring for their disabled daughter, nicknamed “Joe Egg,”  the wheels of their fine-tuned comedy act start to fall off.
